Thanks to a very special (double) sister-in-law who stayed with our kids, Jordan and I were able to have a couples trip to Lake Powell! You are the greatest Court, for taking such great care of my babies! How lucky are we to have been included on such an amazing trip with such great company?!

Josh and Deanna Cluff
Sorry Brent, but one of the highlights of the trip for me was the discovery of Brent Martin's fear of lizards. We saw a lizard on the back of the house boat while boarding the ski boat one day and Brent was so terrified that he jumped into the lake! Of course Jordan couldn't let it go at that, so after the boat trip he and I , along with Josh and Deanna Cluff went on a lizard hunt. Everyone was in on the joke but Brent. After an hour of relentless hunting, hissing(I think that really worked Deanna), bush mutilating, convincing our men that they weren't afraid to just reach in the bush and grab the blasted thing(and convincing yourself, Josh), chasing that poor lizard across the sand, pulling it's tail off, and talking to it in a sing song voice (come on little fella...we're not gonna hurt you...we just want you to scare our friend). We finally caught him and headed back to the boat with our prize! This is Jordan and I on our way back down to the boat. The lizard is in the bowl.
Poor Brent just thought he was sitting down for a game of Phase Ten when all of the sudden a lizard was on his shoulder. He was in the water AGAIN, in seconds. Thanks for the laughs Brent...I hope someday you'll forgive us.
Cute little fella.
Jordan and B-West relaxing after a long day in the sun!
P.S.
My neighbor and dear friend had a baby(Quinten) a few weeks ago and was sweet enough to let me babysit him today. My kids adored him, especially the babies. It was so fun to see them so eager to hold and love on him. He was so good...I could have snuggled him all day. Thanks for making my day Quinten.
