Sick again...
Just wondering if anyone else out there treats sickness like the bad guy it is? I take it personal when sickness preys on my offspring and literally fight back. You can bet your bottom dollar that when the twins woke up with snotty noses, ALL (meaning every ones, not just the sickies)sheets, towels, washcloths, and blankets were washed within the hour. Next, bathrooms are cleaned, walls, light switches, and doorknobs disinfected, and all toothbrushes washed. Everyone has a bath and we switch the babies blankets a second time...because of course they have sneezed on them by now. I wash all washable toys and surface clean the rest.
When I am thoroughly exhausted from all this madness, I will usually start the whole process over again. I really feel like doing a karate kick in the air and busting the chops of this bad guy sickness. How dare he violate our home with his contagious coughs, and sneezes. I will catch up to him one of these days, and when I do...

My friend Kecia posted a link to this sweet family's blog that just lost their week old baby. It made me reflect on the great blessing that each day is. I feel so honored to have the privilege of being a mommy. Holding these little ones in our arms and kissing their tiny fingers and toes is such an amazing feeling. I feel so blessed for each new day with my eternal family. I would encourage all, except pregnant mommies, to visit their site and leave your comment for them. Let their little baby, Kaden, prompt you to hug someone you love and give thanks to God for them! http://www.sgmackfam.blogspot.com/ I love you all!
