Wow! I think new babies are starting to take over my blog. So fun! Aside from babies, loads of 'firsts' have been happening to our family these days.
Kinzlee made friends with the sidewalk when she feel off her cousin's two-wheeler and broke her collar bone for the first time. She was so excited to show off her new talent but had no idea that the hill in front of Grandma's house would require the use of brakes. She knew nothing about brakes since we live on a completely flat road. The insta-care doctor told us it is not broken, but almost a week later she is still favoring that arm and it mostly just hangs limply at her side. She also has a visible lump. I think we will get a second opinion.

Corbin didn't have any firsts that I can think of right now, but he is the handsomest-est boy I know. He also has to put up with a heck of a lot of estrogen everyday and does so with a smile! Kudos to you Corby-man! We love you!

Adley crawled for the first time this week! She has been scooting backwards for a week or so and getting more frustrated by the day. Finally a few days ago she inched her way forward little by little and now she can get to most anything she wants. My life is officially over. Mobile babies are a scary thought. Here's to hoping they don't divide and conquer.

Brecklyn had her first tooth break through yesterday! After many hours of nighttime screaming, back arching and hand biting...it's finally here! Hooray! Too bad they both can't get their teeth in at exactly the same time. That would save me a few nights of sleep. I guess that's a little much to ask for.
I'm off to catch some of that sleep stuff...

Welcome to our one and only DOUBLE COUSIN ASHTON! Tonight I had the chance to hold little Ashton Allphin! I was so happy! He is such a handsome little man. It was so strange to think, genetically this baby is the same as my own. Fun stuff! He weighed 6 pounds 15 ounces! Court did awesome and Kevin was so cute holding his little buddy. Congrats and welcome to our little Allphin-Garn cousin! We are so glad you are here!

It's official! We are going to Disney World to visit Amy a.k.a Belle! Just the older kids and Mom and Dad. I am having anxiety about leaving the twiners for the first time. I know they will get loved on by their cousins and be just fine, but it's still hard. I really am so excited! I thought I'd post some videos of when we took Kinz and Corb to Disney Land. They were so dang cute! Kinzlee's favorite was the peter pan ride and Corbin's was the tea cups. Here's a video of them jamming with Minnie. Corb is really rock'n out. The second video is Corb on his favorite ride!

I finally received some pictures of baby Lauren! Isn't she beautiful? I want to hold her so desperately! I love the picture of McKay kissing her. He is too sweet! We love you Allphin cousins!

Welcome little Lauren!
My brother Jeremy and his wife Bree welcomed their little girl into the world today! She weighed 6 lbs 1 ounce, what I call a little frit! I am dying to see a picture! I am sure she looks a lot like her big brother McKay and I am sure he was so happy to finally hold her! We are so glad you are here Lauren! Can't wait to meet you.

Happy April Fool's everyone! I actually had not remembered that today was April Fools until my sister Shelly called. She told me about http://www.familyfun.com/ where you could find fun 'trick' recipes! So, I decided I'd have a little fun with dinner tonight. When we all sat down to the table I told the kids that because they had been so good today I was going to let them have a cupcake before dinner. Their eyes got big as I placed a cupcake on each of their plates. Jordan immediately questioned my decision, but it was too late. Kinz dipped her finger in the tempting icing and took a lick. She made the funniest face and said, "This tastes like mashed potatoes!" I had made mini meat loaves in cupcake wrappers and frosted them with dyed mashed potatoes. We all had a good laugh. Then a few minutes into the meal Jordan took a huge bite of the grilled cheese sandwiched that I had also made. His face was priceless. I thought he would know that they weren't really grilled cheese sandwiches because of the cupcake trick, but nope...the trick worked like a charm...again. I loved it! The grilled cheese sandwiches were really angel food cake grilled and orange frosting in the middle. When Corbin took a bite he said, "This cheese tastes good!" Thanks for making our April Fools a memorable one Shelly! I am still laughing. This is one of the best meat loaf recipes I have ever made (I added steak seasoning to it) and having them in muffin cups was fun for the kids! I am definitely going to make them again.
I also was able to get a video of Brecklyn clapping finally! She has been doing it non-stop for two days! I am glad they could both have their own little video since they rarely get the spotlight to themselves.

Coming soon...Kin and Corb riding two-wheelers!
