Corbin has this horrible habit lately of getting enormous apples from the fridge taking a few bites and then leaving them on the counter. I caught him this week with an apple he had abandoned and I forcefully told him he better finish it or else. About an hour later we were jumping in the car to go somewhere and Kinzlee couldn't find her shoes. I went to help her and looked under her bed to find the same apple I had instructed Corb to eat just an hour ago. He had hid it under the bed! I swear that kid! If he weren't so dang cute.
Earlier this week we took the kids to fiesta fun. When we got home and were getting ready for bed, Corb came and found me. He had gone into his room, pulled a five out of his bank, and brought it to me. He said he wanted me to have it because I was the best Mom ever. Man that kid can melt your heart! Who says Motherhood doesn't pay?

Adley girl has recently received the nickname "pig squeal" by Jordan. Anytime she get frustrated she squeals like a pig. Then when Jordan teases her by calling her that, she does it even more. Today he actually convinced her that she liked the nickname and she was his little side kick all day. At dinner she pulled her chair around the table and pushed it right next to his, so she could eat by Dad.
She has also been noticing churches we pass lately and she calls them temples. The other day Brecklyn corrected her and told her it was a church, and they started arguing back and forth saying, "temple" or "church". Finally Adley said, "It's a temple Brecklyn. Be nice."
I know I am getting old, because my Kinzlee is starting to be embarrassed by me. A few weeks ago we were heading to the store and Kinzlee's friend Alexa was with us. I started to sing along to a song on the radio and Kinzlee whispered, "Mom! Did you forget Alexa's in the car?" I replied, "No, am I embarrassing you?" She nodded.

Thursday my visiting teachers came to visit. While we were visiting Brecklyn climbed on my lap, pulled my shirt up and wiped a big nasty snoog on it, then climbed down and went back to playing. Yeah...tell me about it.

but...I still want to sell them sometimes.

Like when Brecklyn spilled a whole box of captain crunch on the kitchen floor. Then a few minutes after I swept and mopped I went to the restroom and came back to find she spilled all the animal crackers. ( I hate that she can open doors and that she loves to climb.)

Or when your six-year old tells you she hates you and that she is wearing the dumbest shirt ever and she is sure that every other girl is wearing a skirt on picture day, and she doesn't like the skirt option you give her, and she demands to wear the shirt that has a big grease stain right on the front, and you make her change, and she hates it when you do her hair, and she wishes she didn't even have hair, and you wish the same thing.

I wonder how they would do on ebay...
