Remember when...
Remember when you were little and you were positive that your parents knew EVERYTHING. You were just as certain as you could be that your parents were the smartest parents in the whole world. Well, apparently that bubble has burst a little early for my almost four year old son. Corbin said to me this morning, "Mom's and Dads aren't smart." I asked him why that was and he said,"Because they forget everything. Just like you forgot to take me on a mother-daughter date."
I guess I forgot you were a "daughter" too. Looks like I'm not that smart.

You gotta love 3 year olds!!
That is so cute and funny! I love how smart they think they are at this age!
You better take him on that mother-daughter date soon! Freakin' crap what a bad daughter-raiser you are.
I love how one link leads to another & then I find you! Poor Corbie is so out numbered over there. That story is hilarious!
So funny- Thanks for sharing that! I think that we just pretend not to be smart, but we really are.
I remember when I first saw you in the commons hanging out with Jordan after your debate trip. You were wearing a blue button up fitted shirt and jeans (weird that I remember that). I don't remember who I was walking with, but I remember we were laughing about how you two were such an unlikely (though cute) couple...the goody tush stake president's daughter and the wild boy with long hair. If someone had told me then that you two would have made it through high school and a mission and everything since and that you'd be MARRIED with FOUR kids...I would have laughed in their face (which is saying a lot for me)!
But, you surprised us all! And I'm so happy that things turned out the way they did!
