Ski lessons!

Park City offers a program for novice skiers called Start Now.  For $25 you get a full day and night ski pass, a three hour lesson, and all your rentals.  Super deal!  I signed the kids up, and then thought, 'what the heck!'  I should buck it up and take a lesson myself!  So I did!
The kids were SUPER excited but I must admit, I was concocting plans all morning on how I was going to get out of it.  (I'm kind of a sissy that way.) Luckily there was no out and I had a blast learning to ski!  The kids were naturals and were going off little jumps I wouldn't even go near.  It was so fun to see their confidence in their abilities grow!  I was sore for five days, so I probably won't be going again this year!
 Corbin biffed it!

 Kinzlee cruising!
My nephew Jackson took a lesson too and was amazing!
The kids wanted to keep going, but my legs were screaming "No way!"  So I sat at the bottom of the lift and watched them go down five more times before making them go! They're tough little nuts!
So sad that very shortly they will be much better skiers than their 'old lady' mom and will leave me in the dust!(or powder)

That's so much fun! I hope they still have that program in a couple of years for Ava.

(I've been skiing once, and was "taught" by my 8 year-old nephew)

My parents started taking us when we were younger too! I loved it and I still do. I need to do the same with my kids.

Sounds like so much fun. I never did learn how to ski. My kids have since picked up snow boarding though and really enjoy it. You really stay informed on what's out there. Good Job!!
